Due to low supplies of the Chevrolet Equinox and GMC Terrain, General Motors Co.’s dealers will likely have to wait until midyear for a typical 60-day supply of the crossovers, GM sales chief Susan Docherty said last week.

The Automotive News Data Center revealed that on Jan. 1, GM had a 13-day supply of the Equinox and an 18-day supply of the Terrain. The 2010 Equinox was redesigned last June and the 2010 Terrain was launched in August. In early September, Docherty said that she had believed, along with her team, that the industry will have a comeback at the back half of the year, she disclosed in an interview at the Detroit Auto Show.
