Porsche boss, Mr. Michael Macht announced that the German firm will build the 918 Spyder, one of the biggest surprises from the Geneva Motor Show.
The new car will use a 500 bhp V8 engine but also two electric motors capable to deliver 218 bhp, which means the car will have a total output of 718 bhp. The car is capable to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in under 3.2 seconds while the top speed achieved is 320 km/h (198 mph) plus. According to the manufacturer, the new supercar will be able to beat the record of the old Carrera GT supercar on Nurburgring race track.
