There are an awful lot of Land Rover dealers and customers waiting for the introduction of the next Freelander.
So what's the latest?
We hear a things...you know, things.
Like the name is changing from the Freelander to the LR2.
If you ask our opinion, if they want the best marketing buzz, they should do an Apple and call it the Range Rover Mini.
Look at the attention the Range Rover Sport is getting.
Think it would be that hot if it was named the LR3.5?
Neither do we.
Something about that Range Rover name just gets people a buzzin.
We've also learned through a reliable source that the official intro will be at the London auto show in July.
The on sale date is fall in Europe and April, 2007, in the U.S.
