The first 2010 Ford Mustang GT3 car, with the chassis number MVDS001/001, was built by the teams project partner Multimatic in Canada before being shipped to the United Kingdom, where it underwent a successful initial shakedown test at Ford’s European test facility near Luton, Bedfordshire.
The GT3 will be driven by Belgian Eric De Doncker and Canadian Scott Maxwell, from the Belgian team owned by Marc Van der Straten, Marc VDS Racing.
The Mustang GT3 weighs just 1350kg and is powered by a 5.3 liter V8 engine, rated at 560BHP.
