The 25% sales increase that Chrysler Group posted in April was its largest since it reported a 27% gain in July 2005. In April 2009, Chrysler declared bankruptcy. Last month, Chrysler effortlessly topped its weak year-earlier sales.
But rather than being a one-month occurrence, Chrysler’s recovery actually began in February. Chrysler also posted its first monthly gain, 1% in over two years. Chrysler also recorded an 8% in March. Last week, Chrysler said it rightfully forecasted an increase of more than 20% in April.
