We did it once before and we're doing it again.
Although it may be hard to compare a car from more than 40 years ago to a modern supercar, you have to remember that both vehicles have one thing in common; passion.
And when you're buying a supercar, sometimes that is all that matters. I mean, why else would you plop down approximately $400,000 on a Lexus LFA when you can get a Nissan GT-R that will go just as fast? If you come from that school of thought you'll just never get it.
This neatly brings us to our latest subjects: the Mercedes-Benz 300SL "Gullwing" and brand new SLS AMG. No matter how you slice it both cars bring forth a tremendous amount of styling and even the new car has a vintage quality about it.
But when it comes down to it, which are you taking home?
Modern sophistication and speed beyond your wildest imagination, OR that sense of purity from the 1950s.
