Ford’s chief sales analyst said in a recent interview that he expects the U.S. industry’s annual sales to top 11.1 million vehicles in May. This means that it would be the 3rd straight month above the mark.
So far, the strongest month in sales was March, when sales reached 11.7 million. In April sales dropped to 11.5 million vehicles. “A modest recovery is still in the works. The second half will likely be stronger than the first half, but not wildly stronger.” said analyst George Pipas.
