While many here may claim that AutoSpies really is BMWSpies, that's not the case. We just stand behind whatever we think is the best product at the time. As any publication would do the same if they're worth the paper its written on.

But it's time to get a bit critical.

Let's be real here, the E92 M3 GTS is an outrageously expensive BMW. Significantly more than the E46 M3 CSL and although it has a lot of kit, it still remains pricey. You would really have to be a diehard to get one of these.

And the recently relased Nurburgring track time for the M3 is 7:48, which is quite respectable. Although, the E46 M3 CSL nailed it in 7:50.

With that in mind, which would be your choice? E46 or E92?

Do the two seconds even matter?
