As I am writing this, I am confident that Agent001 is trying to figure out the best way to rob a bank or plan a heist so he can get this car.

The most famous of the James Bond cars, the '64 Aston Martin DB5, has finally resurfaced and is heading to RM Auctions, according to a new microsite featuring "the most famous car in the world."

The best part? Before the car gets bought and stored away from prying eyes, it will be going on a brief tour. If you're in New York between September 14 - 17, the car will be at Sotheby's. If you were wise you'd make some time and get one last look at this stunning piece of memorabilia.

Introduced in Goldfinger, with an encore appearance in Thunderball, this is the one -- the only James Bond 007 Aston Martin DB5 that remains. Sean Connery drove it, equipped with all of its lethal gadgets. Now, fresh from a private collection where it's stayed undercover for the past 40 years, "The Most Famous Car In The World" headlines, in association with Sotheby's, the RM Auctions "Automobiles of London" annual sale on October 27. See it...before it vanishes again....
