Since it is that time of year again, there will be plenty of shoppers hitting up car lots looking for great deals. But since it is fall, a ton of buyers will be presented with the common problem: 2010 vs. 2011?

There's plenty of reasons to choose one or the other, it's just a matter of getting your ducks in a row and figuring them out.

With that said, 00R spotted this piece put together by Consumer Reports that may help you out.

These are tough questions, and the answers won't be the same for every car or shopper. The embedded video covers the highlights in this tough decision, building on an earlier report: Should you buy an all-new car or a proven carry-over car?
