No matter how hard I try to buy a Corvette I always end up with a Porsche in the end.
I'm currently in the market for a sports car and it's between the Corvette Z06 and the Porsche 997S.
I want to buy a Vette but when you get past the raw speed potential, there's not much else there.
The interior sucks.
The exterior design is good but not great.
The Z06 is great on the track but sucks around town.
The sound system blows.
The navigation system blows.
Loaded with options and dealer markup its the same price as a Porsche 997S.
Three days after you buy it you want to get rid of it.
How can the key on a $75K car be as crappy as on a $12k cobalt.
The leather and carpet quality is no better than on a Malibu.
Have you been to a Chevrolet dealer lately? Hard to imagine wanting to deal with that when something goes wrong.
Aside from that, it's a great car ;)
That said, 001 is on his way to the Porsche dealer to pick up a 997S.
