The 2007 Dodge Caliber earned the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration's (NHTSA) highest frontal-crash test rating for both the driver and front passenger. The Caliber's high-strength steel structure and more than 25 advanced safety and security features, including standard, advanced multistage driver and front-passenger air bags, contributed to the five-star frontal-crash test rating. The Caliber's performance in this impact test makes it the 12th new product from the Chrysler Group to achieve the government's top safety rating for frontal crashes.
