It’s not a secret anymore that Audi is working on a hybrid version of the popular Q5 crossover, but until now there were no details regarding the technology which will be used on this new model from the German manufacturer.

Still, according to some unnamed Russian sources, AutoWeek was able to find out the first details and specs of the new Q5 Hybrid. So, it appears that the 2011 Audi Q5 Hybrid will be powered, as expected, by a 2.0-liter TFSI engine delivering 2011, but also by a 45 hp electric motor. The total output of the car will be 240 hp and a whooping 480 Nm of torque.
