Chrysler Group LLC's all-new Jeep Grand Cherokee is so popular that it may spawn Detroit-built versions for the automaker's Italian partner, Fiat SpA.

Sergio Marchionne, CEO of both companies, said Monday that the Jefferson North Assembly Plant would be the only factory to build versions of the SUV for as many as four brands: Chrysler, Dodge, Alfa Romeo and Maserati.
