Nissan Motor Co will stop building the Rogue in Japan at the crossover's next remodeling around 2013, transferring output of one of its best-selling U.S. models to reduce exposure to the strong yen, an executive with direct knowledge of the matter said.

"There won't be another Rogue made in Japan (when it is remodeled)," the executive said, declining to be identified due to the sensitivity of the matter.
