Vauxhall’s next-generation VXR8 that was shown earlier this week has been refined and has received a boost to its performance. The VXR8 is expected to arrive in U.K. dealerships in March 2011. The first VXR8 had used the Clubsport R8 but the new model -- the Holden Special Vehicles-built super-saloon – now has the Australian firm’s GTS model as its base.
Vauxhall’s flagship will still be powered by 6.2-litre Chevrolet V8 engine, which delivers 425bhp, with 406lb ft, enabling it to sprint from zero to 60mph in 4.9sec and reach a top speed of 155mph.
