The 2011 Honda Civic sedan got an overall crash test rating of just three stars in the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration's new testing, the agency announced today. NHTSA has been slowly revealing results for the of 55 vehicles tested under its revised five-star New Car Assessment Program.

How Civic's overall score, which is based on three of the five tests, breaks down: Four stars for the frontal-crash test, two stars in the side-crash test, four stars for rollover risk.
