If you were one of the select few that didn't find the 2011 Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG "Gullwing" cool enough for your taste, perhaps the Roadster variant will change your mind. Even though a car without a roof loses its rigidity, you better believe they still are a ton of fun.
Having driven the SLS AMG, I know the "Gullwing" sounds like a gnarly beast that hasn't been fed. Imagining that car without the top and inside of a quarter mile tunnel seems like a dream, or a brilliant idea.
Though we doubt the doors will swing upwards it would pretty nifty if they did a la Mercedes' SLR.
