While we can assume with reasonable rationale that the 2012 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 will be making its long-awaited debut in the windy city, the other car is a bit of a toss up.

Although details remain incredibly vague, there have been a couple of ideas thrown around the 'net in the past couple of days. One publication shot down the Chevelle theory, another mentioned a possible return of the Pontiac G8 as a civilian-style Chevrolet PPV and I think that the best possible theory would be a Malibu concept.

General Motors has been playing with its design as of August 2009, so, you'd think they'd want to show off this vehicle already. Not to mention its patent drawings have been filed, as seen in the cover shot provided by Carscoop.

Speaking at a J.D. Power forum in Detroit, General Motors North American President Mark Reuss announced that Chevrolet will unveil two new models at the upcoming 2011 Chicago Auto Show, which kicks off on February 9. Mr. Reuss said one of the models will be a new vehicle based on the Camaro-platform, however, he declined to divulge further details about the car...
