Customers of Volkswagen AG's luxury brand Audi must wait an average of three to four months before the cars, such as the $52,700 A6 sedan, can be delivered. Sales chief Peter Schwarzenbauer explained that factories are running in full capacity in order to cope with the record demand and extra shifts may even be added on Saturdays. In an interview, Schwarzenbauer said that if sales continue to rise, it would be difficult to say just how soon before waiting times are cut short.
