Although we've been informed that the car will be based on the GTI's chassis, it also will be beefed up with some more structural support in key areas to keep it stiff. Another crucial aspect will be the top, which will defect from the Eos and go sans folding metal in order to keep weight and costs down. Canvas all the way!
