Through the end of the week, Subaru of America’s production is halved due to shortage of parts that are supplied from Japan. This was confirmed by a spokeswoman for Subaru’s factory in Lafayette, Ind., saying that Subaru is cutting four hours from each of its two daily shifts. She also revealed that the parts that have dwindling supplies are crucial for vehicle assembly.
