One of the big talks of the town for the past six months has been the rumblings over at Audi. Not only is it just getting underway to unleash the controversial Audi A7 in the States, it has something more important coming out at the 2011 Shanghai Motor Show.

That, my friends, is the Audi Q3. Set to square off directly with the likes of the BMW X1, which has had success in Europe, the Q3 is likely to stick to the formula that has worked well for it so far.

A conservatively styled exterior, featuring the infamous LED treatment, and a jaw-droppingly handsome, class-leading interior.

From what we see of Audi's design sketches of the Q3, it appears to be a punchier, smaller version of the Q5. If you were expecting something revolutionary, you will be disappointed.

Better yet, click "Read Article" and take a look at the FOUR sketches that found their way onto the 'net and weigh in down below. Is this next big thing from Audi?
