Operations at General Motors’ SUV plant in Arlington, Texas, will be suspended on Friday due to a parts shortage, according to Enrique Flores Jr., president of UAW Local 276. GM will cancel two 10-hour overtime shifts set for Friday but will operate on Monday as planned. The plant produces the Chevrolet Tahoe, the GMC Yukon and the Cadillac Escalade. Flores said that GM didn’t say what parts were lacking and who the source is.
