Responding to complaints from owners of its new Leaf EV who've found that their cars won't start after an instrument panel warning light illuminates, Nissan Motor Co. said this morning that it will ask owners of 5,300 of the electric cars in the U.S., Japan and Europe to bring them to a dealer for a fix. The company said that 500 U.S. Leaf customers – that's about the total number who've received the EV so far - are involved in what it calls a "service campaign" rather than a formal recall.New York Auto Show Preview Photo Gallery2012 Audi A7 USA Model Photo GalleryLexus LF-Gh Concept Photo Gallery2012 Audi Q3 Photo GalleryHyundai Veloster Real Life Shots Photo GalleryMercedes-Benz Concept A-Class Photo GalleryAutoSpies.com Photo GalleriesIf you want to see your photos running on our homepage photo ticker, be sure to upload your photos on the go by sending them to Mobile@AutoSpies.com Share on FacebookRead Article
