The Spies Nab A Peek At The 2012 1-Series M-Sport Brochure

It didn't take too long after we barely a week after we got the first details of the 2012 1-series, that we now get our first glimpse of the M-Sport package.  Again the M-Sport package remains a stepping stone between mere mortal 1-Series and the full fledged fire breathing M Series.



Our good friends over at In Auto News came across what appears to be the M-Sport option brochure and passed it on to us. The M-Sport package come complete with 17 to 18 inch rims and most of the exterior chrome has been replaced with black trim.




The all leather interior will come tastefully equipped with a leather shift knob, brake handle and include a leather wrapped multifunction steering wheel. Sport trim is also evident through out the cabin.



The engine choices should remain  consistent with the move to smaller turbocharged motors across the entire line. The European 1-Series M-Sport models will come with a complete selection of both diesel and gas power plants, but we would expect the U.S. spec models to follow in the steps of power plant choices already in place  for other U.S. models.
