According to reports from overseas, this rendering, which was compiled after analyzing spy photographs, is said to be a good representation of the next-generation Mini Cooper.
AutoExpress says that these images are based off of "exclusive information." Do you believe them?
From the spy photographs I have seen I am not so sure what to believe. Although I do know one thing, if these images are a good idea of what's coming down MINI's pipeline, it seems that they're heading down the right path. It has just enough of a differentiating character yet it doesn't completely abandon the Cooper's past.
But this brings up another point: should MINI try and make the Cooper even more different? Considering the line up has been strengthened with the Countryman, upcoming Coupe and Roadster, does MINI need anymore differentiation?
The most important new MINI is nearly here – and the next- generation hatchback promises to be more practical, cheaper to run and even more fun to drive.

That means fans can expect the fresh hatch to lay a blueprint for a whole new generation of models...
