Sometimes there are just some things that remain unexplainable. Agent 001 had one such experience today as he felt that something special was going to happen. Well, his gut instinct was right. That's because while he was cruising around in his blue oval today, he stumbled upon something else from Ford.

If you recall from the 2011 Detroit Motor Show, one of the cars that we thought was exceptional was the Ford Vertrek. Taking inspiration from the Focus hatchback, it looks like a sleeker and more refined Escape, which is now in dire need of a replacement.

With that said, we have been calling the Vertrek the next-gen Escape.

That very same vehicle was spotted today in SoCal and my, oh my did 001 get this one good. Not only did he snap the exterior from a multitude of angles, he also managed to get some interior spy shots as well. From what we can see the interior looks heavily inspired from the Fiesta and Focus, it's just been scaled up quite a bit.
