The Detroit Three could offer wage increases of $1 to $2 per hour for entry-level workers as part of its new labor contract, according to Barclays Capital analyst Brian Johnson.

Johnson estimates that a $2 increase in entry-level wages and a richer profit-sharing formula would cost General Motors about $250 million annually and Ford about $230 million annually.
