One thing about German vehicles is that they're not always the MOST alluring and MOST attractive vehicles; however, there is usually an element of utility and there are some quirky design aspects.
But my God, when the Germans do it right, they really go all out.
For example, when BMW built the 507-inspired Z8, it took a dash of retro styling and planted the E39 M5's V8 under the hood, thus creating a phenomenal top-down cruiser.
Or how about the Audi R8? The brand with the four rings liberally utilized some pieces of the Lamborghini Gallardo and blam-o(!), it created a mid-engine supercar that some claim is the best. Ever.
More importantly though, we're a bit curious:
