As most of you are well aware at this point, 001 spent this week extensively covering the USA launch of the 2012 BMW 3-Series.

This event was particularly special since it was the first crack journalists had to drive the 335i.

Although BMW has been very forthcoming in showing off the new lineup, featuring the luxury, modern and sport models, we have yet to see some optional accessories. Take, for example, some other types of wheels from the regular optional equipment.

Thanks to our friends at Bimmerfest, that's all changed now. At the Rolex 24 at Daytona, BMW had a unique 328i shod with some 20-inch wheels.

Aside from that, can you spot the other difference that will NOT likely make an appearance on U.S.-spec vehicles?


At the 50th Anniversary of the Rolex 24 At Daytona BMW was showing off a very unique F30 328i. This TwinPowered inline 4 cylinder powered 3 series sports the optional style 404 cross spoke 20" wheels shod in 225/35/R20 front and 255/30/R20 tires looking more like rubber bands wrapped around the rims then actual tires.
