John Krafcik likes to include a question in his presentations about Hyundai to evoke the character of the company.
"Have you tried?"
He's not auditioning for a show on the Food Channel. It's a saying Hyundai founder Chung Ju-Yung frequently asked as he built the Korean automaker into a global force.
"If you are more traditional, and you want to make your business plan in steps that you know for sure you can achieve ... Hyundai is not the right place for you," Krafcik, CEO of the automaker's North American unit, told the Free Press. "The personality of the company is very optimistic."
