According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, 2011 and 2012 model year Porsche Cayenne sport-utility vehicles are under recall.

Don't worry, they're not catching fire like Ferraris.

The recall has been issued over headlights that can become loose and detach. Yikes, that's not good!

The recall is in effect for approximately 20,000 vehicles.

If you're the owner of a Cayenne you can do one of two things: 1) sit tight and await notification from Porsche, or 2) call Porsche's support line at 1-800-767-7243. The recall has been identified as AC01.


Porsche has issued a recall for its Cayenne SUVs. More than 20,000 models of the Porsche sport-utility vehicles have headlamps that can become loose and detach, possibly reducing driver visibilities and increase the risk of a crash said the U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.

According to NHTSA, the recall affects 2011 and 2012 Porsche Cayenne SUVs—including the S, S Hybrid, and Turbo models—made from March 2010 through January 2012...
