If you've been paying attention for the past several years, it's clear that the Tata-owned Jaguar Land Rover has been making strides in reinventing itself. That's a good thing too because prior to that, things weren't looking to hot for either marque.

One specific product we were hot on from the get-go was the Range Rover Evoque. I love telling the story of how I was watching the product reveal live on a television show and once it ended, the other guys completely panned it. I was the only chap to make the right call, saying "It is the most exciting product ever created for them up to date," or something like that.

Clearly, this is backed up by its remarkable sales figures, which has spurred the creation of 1,000 more jobs in the UK.

In addition, I am not sure about you fellas but I've been seeing them pop up quite a bit in the past couple of months -- specifically in the New York tri-state region. This is all good and well, but an important question lingers:

What do old Range Rover fans think of the all-new Evoque?

Does it live up to the heritage and legacy that Range Rover has established OR is it a move in a completely new direction?
