BMW will supply more than 3000 vehicles to the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games, including 1550 BMW 3-series Efficient Dynamics models, 40 fully electric Minis and 20 BMW 5-series Hybrids.
The German manufacturer, which is the official automotive partner to the games, has revealed vehicles that will be used during event, which runs from 27 July to 12 August. Most vehicles will be given a variety of tasks but certain models have specific roles. The 17 BMW X3s, for example, are towing boats at sailing and rowing events as well as acting as support cars for the Olympic Torch Relay.
