Here is the new rule of BMW M GmbH:

There are no rules.

The reason I know this is because we've just about seen it all. All-wheel drive, automatics, forced-induction and more. Though it may seem as though I am drinking haterade, I am not.

As much as I want to call out BMW's business moves, the fact remains the all-wheel drive, automatic, forced-induction X6M is one of my favorite cars and the non-M powerplant, forced-induction 1M is likely one of my favorite BMWs of all time.

However, this latest campaign for the all-new M5, which features an "M Performance Edition" M5 is kind of...lame. Though it's called the M Performance edition, apparently there are no actual mechanical upgrades. What you DO get are a set of unique color combinations and trims.

Wouldn't it have been more appropriate to name it the Individual Edition? Just sayin'.

Anyhow, if you'd like to give it a peek, scope out the "wobble"-filled", dubstep-backed clip below...

**Oh, and by the way this British publication has to get its facts right. WHITE is not one of the colors in the "M" badge. Jeez.

Ten of each colour will arrive in the UK, each with a ‘One of 30’ badge in the cabin and matte black 20-inch alloy wheels. Inside, black leather with matching piano black trim follows the same theme.

The 552bhp twin-turbo V8 in the BMW M5 will not be tweaked, but the Performance Edition will carry a £22,000 premium over the standard car, meaning the Performance Edition will cost £95,140.

From BMWUK's YouTube:

Exclusively limited to just 30 vehicles, the new BMW M5 M Performance Edition models come with an impressively high specification of standard equipment and in a choice of three unique Frozen paintwork colours, ten for each colour, available for the first time in the UK.
