Man, 2012 may go down as the year of the S' over at Audi. With the launch of cars like the updated S4, S5, all-new S6, S7 and S8, it's been a busy year.
However, one car that compact car nuts have been waiting for is the S3, based on the all-new car that Audi has put together for 2013.
Though no official numbers or details have been revealed, Autocar did some magnificent work tracking down the car as it got a workout. Clearly this isn't your standard A3 as it clearly has an updated front valence with additional venting on the sides. In addition, the subtle looker is adorned with a quad-tipped exhaust, which is an "S" trademark.
Grumblings from insiders, according to Autocar, are hinting at a forced induction 2.0-liter, four-cylinder powerplant that produces upwards of 280 horsepower and 280 lb.-ft. of torque.
Look for the S3 to make its debut at the Paris Motor Show.
