Renault is planning to replace its Modus with a new crossover based on the Captur concept, which will be similar in size to the Nissan Juke.
After some rumors appeared earlier on, which were saying that the Renault Megane SUV will hit the market in the next couple of years and it will be based on the Nissan Qashqai, the French based automaker is taking things to a whole new level and it’s announcing that the Modus will be replaced by a crossover based on the Captur concept, which will be similar in size to the Nissan Juke. The upcoming crossover will have to go against models like the Opel Mokka, the Ford EcoSport or the new Peugeot 2008, a 208-based SUV, along with the current segment leader, the Nissan Juke.
