The entry-level Lexus ES, revamped for the ’13 model year and heavily counted on to boost brand sales and draw first-time buyers, appears a strong contender for North American production, as well. Toyota has confirmed it is considering sourcing additional Lexus vehicles in the region, but has not said what models are among the leading candidates.
