Driving in London can be taxing even without the added pressure of extra tourists arriving for the Olympics.
But when visitor Nima Hosseini Razi's car broke down near Parliament, he was not expecting his car to be blown up by anti-terror police.
Mr Razi came to London as a sightseer but had problems with his Ford Mondeo as he drove around Parliament Square.
His car eventually broke down in Storey's Gate, next to the House of Commons and Westminster Abbey, reported The Daily Telegraph.
The business student at the University of Wales left a note on the dashboard, reading: "Dear Sir or Madam, this car is broken. I am just waiting for the AA to arrive. Please do not fine! Thank you, yours sincerely."
