The radical DeltaWing has reportedly entered the race to be chosen as Indy Lights' new car for 2014. SPEED.com's Marshall Pruett reported Friday that the management group of the car, from designer Ben Bowlby through constructor All American Racers and producer Elan Technologies had submitted a proposal for the car to be considered and later mass produced for Lights competition. Don Panoz, American Le Mans Series founder and the owner of Elan, declined comment on specific negotiations but remains interested in future race opportunities for the DeltaWing.
