I would have to say that the most common line written about the BMW X5M and BMW X6M is that they're ridiculous. I can't really wrap my head around how folks can write that about the BMWs and then make a family truckster reference to the Cadillac CTS-V Wagon and then essentially opine about it like it was sent from the heavens.
Let's face it, they're both equally ridiculous -- and equally awesome. And that's why I adore the X5/6M!
Now, in recent months we've seen spy photos and video of the next-gen X5 camo'd to the gills. While we've yet to see any progress or skin shed, it's interesting to note that BMW is already beginning prototype testing of the upcoming X5M.
While word on the street suggests it will likely keep its current powerplant or receive the slightly tuned-up version that can be found in the all-new M5/M6, what we're hearing for the FIRST time is one seriously loud, turbo'd sport-utilty vehicle hauling ass on the 'Ring.
