MotorTrend recently tested that Audi S7 and was very surprised with the performance numbers. Not only did the S7 have much better performance numbers than the Mercedes-Benz CLS550, it's closest rival and intended target, but it nearly matched the more powerful CLS 63 AMG.
With 420 horsepower and 406 pound feet of torque from the TwinTurbo V-8 engine, the S7 is down 140 horsepower and 47 lb. feet of torque to the more powerful RS7. Does this mean the upcoming RS7 will be the new performance king of the segment?
