For every new car there is a FIRST time. And even though the 2014 Chevrolet Corvette was JUST unveiled and has not reached the hands of the giddy consumer, it has bitten the dust.
And from what we're seeing, it's apparent that it was wrecked by — what we're guessing — is a General Motors engineer.
How do we know? Well, it appears to be the same exact blue Corvette Stingray caught on camera by an enthusiastic 'Vette fan only weeks ago. The plates match.
We hope whoever was involved walked away safely.
Got this picture e-mailed from a friend in Arizona last week with the following description:
"Driving through some mountains in Arizona about 30 minutes ago. In some tight switchbacks when we passed this '14 Vette. Cop had just arrived. Car is in worse shape than looks. Hit guardrail on left and bounced back to rocks."
