 Nissan's premium division renames the JX35 and gives it a new hybrid powertrain in time for the New York Auto Show.

It’s getting harder and harder to justify driving a large crossover or SUV without hybrid propulsion to make it (at least seem) a little greener. So at the upcoming New York Auto Show, Infiniti will present a hybrid version of its big QX60. Now if you’re scratching your head thinking which the QX60 is in Infiniti’s newly-renamed model line, you may recognize it better as the JX35, a seven-seat crossover which Nissan’s luxury brand unveiled in August 2011 at Pebble Beach.
