With the invent of the almighty smartphones, once only available on our desktops has been put into the palm of our hands. It sounds cliche but now, more than ever, our phones are essentially the gateway to so many different facets of our lives. It's remarkable.

That said, with utopia comes dystopia.

I think if you were to look at any distracted driving statistics you'd notice some sort of correlation with accidents and deaths since the rise of the smartphone. Whether folks are programming directions into their apps or trying to text a bud, we're not living with more dangerous roads.

Of course this assumes you're holding it in your hand. Since cars and mobile devices came together there's been manufacturers for cradles and mounts to make everything a bit safer.

All of this said, we're a bit curious:

Do YOU use a smartphone cradle or mount?

If so, WHICH do YOU think is best?

Personally, I don't use it. I put my phone on the passenger seat and leave it there until I reach my destination. Just me, though.
