Porsche's had a pretty good year in terms of accolades. While this sounds like a bit of navelgazing, I did name the new 911 as my favorite car I drove in 2012. But I wasn't alone.
So did Playboy.
As did the Robb Report.
Maybe even a couple others...
I have to say if you haven't driven the new 911 it is a significant step forward from the last-gen 997. Though that gen product was miles ahead of the red-headed stepchild — the 996 — the reality is it was still a little crude here and there. Porsche dialed up the awesome though with the 991.
But rather than have me stammer on about it, I'll let Jay Leno take over for me.
Oh, and there's a bonus for you loves of cheeky British-ness. Leno also gives the Morgan three wheeler a spin. But, honestly, who cares except for Jalops and other geeks?
