This past week marked what I would consider Mazda's biggest launch in the next couple of years. That's because it trotted out the all-new 3 hatchback. While we'd have an educated guess that the sedan sells more in the domestic market, Mazda showed off the five door.

Clearly the all-new 3 follows the footsteps of the CX-5 and, more recently, the 6 sedan. Of course this is a good thing because both of those products are great looking. And we know it's impacted sales because things are positive for Mazda in quite some time. Of course there is still a big push needed to fully upright the company and I am guessing the all-new 3 will be it.

You can see it in the design, inside and out.

Note the interior's much more upscale look? The infotainment screen looks almost identical to the Mercedes-Benz A-Class. Square in shape and just sits on top of the center stack. Obviously, this is a SIGNIFICANT improvement over the last-gen 3's teeny tiny screen that was not ideal in the world of widescreen navigation units.

That said, here's some footage of the car in motion. The first clip is a 15-second advertisement but, more importantly, is the launch video that shows the vehicle a bit more.
