Though there's been a couple of teaser clips of the all-new Acura NSX working its way around the track, we finally got to see the real deal this past weekend. Equipped with a decidedly six-cylinder motor, three electric motors and a set of batteries, it was actually pretty cool to see the closed-roof car from the Avengers make an appearance.
Said to be coming to reality in 2015, it's clear we'll be in a holding pattern for a bit longer. If I am honest though, I wonder how much of that is really left. I mean, the vehicle's clearly designed and the thing is running.
Will Acura be taking a Porsche-like lead time on developing and perfecting this vehicle? We hope so!
If the all-new NSX delivers, this could very well be the car that propels the brand into stardom, once again — provided its lineup is well sorted out by that time.
