Official Lexus confirmation of the LS430 refresh, for the non-believers
Mail from down under, confirms story, that the Spies broke last year!
Dear 001,
All the way on the other side of the globe Auto Spies is proving to be a great asset. I work for Australia's largest Lexus dealer and your news letter is the most eagerly awaited email of the week.
It's a great source of advanced information and fantastic sales tool keeping you up to date with what all the manufacturers are up to. Customers love it when you not only know your own product but other brands they may be looking at as well. Associates working for other brands love it too, I really don't understand some dealers writing in to abuse you guys (like the $12m BMW dealer) for providing information we all want. Your news letter seems a very level playing field. If your product has problems then it deserves to be canned, whilst good cars deserved to be praised. And so what if Auto Spies leaks that a new model is on its way. Take the fact that we will have the facelift LS430 from August 03 production, it's easy just make the run out model an attractive proposition or take a pre-order on the coming model. Heck Auto Spies leaking a new model might even result in some extra sales with people chasing both run out deals or the very first of a newly released model. It's a great feeling having people freaking at seeing a new car driving down the street for the first time and maybe even hearing them say "Hey there's that new car that was in Auto Spies"
To the $12m BMW dealer, keep reading Auto Spies for info on the new Lexus GS range it's going to kick your ass. Bring on the spy shots Auto Spies and keep up the great work.
Best Regards,
Jakob Kelsey
